| The Family & Youth Services Bureau is a private, not-for-profit organization. The agency is governed by a Board of Directors selected from among residents of Porter County. The agency operates through a unique combination of private philanthropy, grants from governmental departments and organizations
(including substantial support from Porter County Government and the Porter County United Way), foundation support, contracts and fees for service.
FYSB programs are staffed by experienced professionals many of whom have Master Degrees whose training is typically in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Education. |
All information received is treated with respect and privacy. All of our volunteers are trained to respect the importance of privacy and the discretion of use of personal information. In some cases the agency has the responsibility to relay some information to referring agency. As a client of the agency, you will be made aware of what information is shared.
We understand that a major part of working with people is maintaining trust. A key part of that is respecting your privacy. | ||
