Licensed Counselor

Family & Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) is a comprehensive nonprofit that has been serving its community for 50 years. Our mission is to assist youth and families through supportive services that create a positive change in Porter County. Our agency has two openings for an Indiana Licensed Counselors who utilizes a strength-based approach, believes that youth and families have strengths and will help them learn to use those to create a new path in their lives.

The new team members will participate in a variety of structured programming primarily office based with some programming occurring in areas schools and the local detention center:

  • Individual & family counseling

  • Parent and community education

  • Substance use education and prevention

  • Delinquency diversion

  • Specialized groups and family programing

  • Mentoring and summer day camp

  • Counseling assessments

Required: A Master's degree with current licensure in the State of Indiana (LSW, LCSW, LMHCA, LMHC, LMFTA, LMFT) is required for this position.
